6 White Hall, AR White Hall, AR Full-time Full-time $16 - $18 an hour $16 - $18 an hour The Kitchen Tech assists the kitchen with the day-to-day operations of producing products infused with various Cannabis derived oils.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Produces cannabis infused edibles while maintaining the strict laws and guidelines set by the government to ensure all products are manufactured within the confines of the law.
Assists Kitchen Manager in the creation of new recipes and products.
Learns various recipes and methods of preparation of medicated products.
Uses accurate measurements when making a recipe.
Meets set production deadlines by working efficiently with a sense of urgency.
Checks products and pulls random samples to monitor quality and consistency.
Maintains live counts on all infused edibles products.
Keeps track of non-medicated product and monitoring levels of raw materials.
Maintains correct sanitation for work areas, sanitation logs, checking for any possible health code violations, and mitigating the risk of cross contamination.
Assists with the labeling and packaging of final products when necessary.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Must be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background check.
Must be able to communicate with GDF team effectively and professionally.
Must perform under high pressure situations.
Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high stress situations.
Must be self-motivated.
Must be able to multi-task.
Must have excellent organizational skills.
Must be able to stay focused.
Must have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Must be a team player with a can do attitude.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Must have reliable transportation.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent 1 year of experience in a regulated field that adheres to health and safety policies and procedures is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to respond quickly to sounds.
Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
Must be able to see and respond to dangerous situations.
Must be able to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.
Must be able to sit or stand for up to 12 hours at a time.
Must be able to work in bright/hot/humid conditions.
Must be able to work in low light situations.
Must be able to lift, stand, sit, walk, bend, reach, push/pull, use hands repetitively, grasp, and respond to visual activity.
May be exposed to limited hazardous chemicals.
